    Signing rights over
    My ex wants to sign his rights over to me for our 5 year old daughter but I have know idea how to go about this. We live in Scotland, I'm extremely keen for this to happen bit how do we go about it?

    You contact a solicitor to aid you in this and tell him that your ex wants to sign over his rights to your daughter. Simple and straight forward, I hope.

    I so not personally know the law in Scotland, but I happen to be sitting by a man from Scotland right now, ( how strange is that) I am in China and having breakfast with a man from Scotland.
    But he tells me that there needs to be reason, and that the man will most likely still have to pay support
