I've been going through similar situations except mine is a little different. My lady started acting a little distant from me when we were still together 2 weeks ago. We talked and she ended up wanting space. She told me that she wants to miss me and love me again but right now she doesn't feel like she loves me and wants to think about herself only. Mind you we have 2 babies together. I've been with her for 3 yrs and now its been two weeks of separating. I picked up my clothes and left the house but the majority of it is still there. Last weekend I decided to stop contacting her and responding to her, I pretty much disappeared from her. She blew up my phone cursed me out, at the end it was all because she couldn't take care of the two babies by herself and she needed "my help". She told me she didn't want anything to do with me until I showed up at her house and confronted her about her craziness. After some heated arguments, she finally calmed down and I was able to express to her that I still loved her and never really disappeared. I'm pretty much doing exacly what she is doing and that is "space". I think I got through to her when I told her I wanted for us to start from scratch get to know each other again and start dating. She thought it was an excuse to come back to the house but I told her that it wasn't. Her reply to me was that she wants to think about it and not text her or bug her about this situation anymore. I was OK with and the only communication I have had with her was to see how the kids are diong and that she's picked them up from daycare and what not. Other than that I haven't contacted her at all. The last time I spoke to her she told me she was going to domincan republic for the weekend(shes dominican) and that I was going to take the kids this weekend while she was away. I hated hearing that but I couldn't do anything about it so I'm here just trying to live my life and at the same time not contact her. Kind of long but that's my situation at the moment.

I would talk with a lawyer, to see what my legal recourses are. You have 2 children, and someone will have to tend to them. I would consider leaving, but would find out about my responsibilities with the children first. Good luck.
