    WAC 388-15-011 and deployment
    Does the WAC 388-15-011 Child abandonment statute still apply if the spouse is deployed but has means to contact said child and does not do so?

    More then likely not. Is this person paying child support or is there an order in place?

    Actually, it's a regulation not a statute. Note, however, there are links to pertinent statutes at the bottom.

    Are you saying that the parent/spouse who is accused of abandoning the child is deployed?
