    Statute of limitations in ontario
In 1986 I had a student loan for $4000, in total I have paid over $17,000 in interest and they are still trying to take me to small claims court for another $7000! Is there some sort of statute of limitations on this. I am also a single mom who is owed $101,000 in back child support.

Sorry, but the limitation act was amended in 2004. There is no limitation in Ontario for student loans, however, you can call them and have your payment reduced, but you still have to pay. This is unfortunate.
