    Platelet counts
My husband 's doctor called and told him his platelette count was 28,000, he added the normal should be around 200,000, and the lowest 50,000. What can be done to raise his count, will he be on medication, for an extended time?

What, if any, are his other health conditions? Is he on any medications?
