    Credit card judgement
My husband has a credit card judgement against him. The company attempted to garnish his checking account - which has no money in it. He has attempted to contact them for 2 weeks to make payment arrangements. No one is returning his calls. What can he do next? Also can a credit card company take our house?

    Take them to court.
Get down to the courthouse and ask for some info on how to proceed. Explain to the bank what is happening and they might assist you. The CC company not responding is an outrageous attempt to prevent your husband from settling the matter sensibly.

Make a LOW offer in court - I mean really low - and the Court will probably approve it.
CC companies HATE Courts, the reason being that the Court is on the side of the customer.
