    Eye hurts when I blink
It happened all of a sudden. I was sitting in front of a computer when my eye began to hurt. It only hurts when I blink. It feels like I have a needle in my eye (at the top, or back of my eyelid). I cannot find or see anything in my eye. My eye became red and swollen after trying to take it out. I went to sleep so as not to have to blink, but woke up at 2am and it still hurts. There are occasional moments when the pain stops when I blink, but this only lasts for a couple blinks.

Don't try to take anything out of your eye. Just because it felt like a needle, doesn't mean there is a needle in it. You probably did more damage then you know. Make an appt. with an eye doctor to have your eye examined.
