    Utility pump
This is a question from the Sgt.Dear Sgt. Dillingham, We are wondering what the amps is for a 12 volt pump that runs off a 12 volt battery. I don't know

Do you know the amperage draw of the water pump? If it has a motor it might require more at startup. The RPSL-7000 is only rated at 6 amps. We have other power supplies that are bigger if needed. Go to the link below.

There is no "average" You need to know the Amperage draw to know what you need.

    Amps X volts =watts. X 12 = ? Can't solve with 2 unknowns.

I cannot find the answer in the instruction sheet about amps. Curious wanted to know
If a pump that runs off a 12 volt battery can be converted to a household outlet. With installing
A three prong plug. But they must know what amps the pump draws. The converter only goes to 7.5 amps
