How do I find a person who was born in athens, greece but married and moved to the united states and I only have her maiden name? I saw her last in 1956 and she was living in a suburb named Old Faleron in Athens, Greece and her name is Vaya Skiadaressi. I have tried in familylink. Com and peoplefinder and the white pages of Greece to no avail. She was my first love and would like to find her to see how her life went and to tell her about mine before we pass on.

First off you have to start somewhere. So if they imigrated to the US then you can start there. Do you know who she married? Was she married before she left Greece ? If she came to the US by ship then you might be able to find the log somewhere online. From there you can try to gather as much as you can following bits and pieces forward in time. If they owned a home you might be able to find a record of that. If she divorced you might find that too. It is hard to say but you have to start with what you know before stepping into the unknown.
