1040 NR Exempt wages

I did the schedule OI found the tax treaty which gave me $5000 exempt wages. I put 5000 on line 22, but it's not included on anywhere else on the return, do I just subtract it from my total w2 wages and enter the net amount to box 8? Is that how it works? Thanks

If a foreigner is here in the U.S. and qualifies as Resident Alien then he/she files a 1040 just like a US citizen, right. But do they need to include all their worldwide income even if they don't receive the foreign income here in the U.S.
