Likely about 6 months. Of course only puppy mills wait less than a year before breeding a female again. Is it asking too much to expect people to learn a little about dogs before breeding them? I find it extremely unlikely you took any of the precautions a responsible breeder does before breeding her the first time. Do you care about the 10,000,000 dogs we slaughter every year for lack of homes? Many of them are purebreds produced by people with little understanding of what is needed to produce quality dogs. If you doubt what I am saying, go to Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. and see how many purebred mini Dachshunds need homes.
