    Looking for drive belt diagram for model scott 1642h date 2001
    I need a diagram to put the new drive belt on

    Hi,
    There are actually two possible diagrams for the drive belt with the only difference being that the latter on adds a guide the tensioning idlers. Both hark back to the STX hydro. They are below.

My son-in-law gave me a Scotts 16 x 42 automatic that he said ran fill but just did't go forward or reverse. I looked up underneath and the belt appears to be broken and entangled. I can get a new belt from my local John Deere Parts store but then how do I put it on. I'm also not sure its worth...
