I am in a manic state currently should i go to the hospital
I am currently in a manic state. I have Bipolar II and was recently diagnosed with it but have been dealing with mental issues for more than 3 yard. Right now I am experiencing the following.
    -Racing thoughts ( really fast)
-intrusive suicidal ideations ( its usually normal for me to have them but not this frequent)
    -Im very paranoid right now.
-I am very scared for no reason
-I feel like I can't go to sleep
-I am spending money that I don't have
-I am plotting ways to spend money on unessential things when and if I get money.
    -Intense mood swings
    -Random bursts of anger
    - I can't stop moving
    - I really want to cry but can't
    - constantly on the verge of screaming..
    - I have the urge to do illegal things. (but I have not)
-I can barely type because I'm going so fast
Please help me. I am very concerned and I have been feeling this way for 2 weeks straight now.

Do you have a psychiatrist whom you see for meds and maybe counseling?

Yes. I have... I have been trying to find the right medication as well but out of 21 trail I have not prevailed... My anxiety level is really high and suddenly I have the urge to cry and then run as far as I can until I pass out now to add to it all.

Is there someone to drive you to the ER? Or call an ambulance. Don't drive yourself there.

How long have your stays been at either facility? They have time to observe whether the meds are working?

First, you need to go somewhere to get help and probably stay a few days (or longer). Is the other facility better for you, do you think, and would they take you as an emergency?

The other facility is around 1 hour and 30 minutes away and is very much like a prison. The place that I have been to is only 25 minutes away.
The closest era are both 15 and 20 minutes away...

If I were you, if the closer facility will accept me as a direct emergency, I'd go there. Otherwise, head for the ER at the hospital.

If you are taking the meds correctly, obviously it/they aren't working, so the doctors will see that. I will be thinking of you. Let me know how this all worked out, if you ever can.
