Is it a girl
Hi,
We went for our 21 week scan today which lasted for about an hour. The person doing the scan was looking at the heart rate of the baby and blurted out "Its a girl" but she didn't show us any proof on any of the pictures that it was a girl so we only have her word for it.
Could she be wrong? Should she have shown us some evidence? I have attached one of the photos taken from the top of the thighs but I don't know how to interpret this photo as it wasn't explained to us..
Welcome anyone's thoughts?

It appears to be a girl, but I am not a radiologist. The best person to ask would be your OB/GYN.

You see lack of boy parts, that is how you tell.
But at times parts seem to hide.
Does it really matter ?
But your doctor can review.
I have know many cases where everyone was wrong.

I've delivered many babies who were boys that went home in pink. You are going to have to wait until that baby is born to know what body parts it does or doesn't have.
