    I have a 16a 125vac 3/4hp
    10a 250vac 3/4hp toggle switch for a restaurant fryer do I have to use the same aperage toggle or can I use aanother

    You can use whatever fits the application. Since we don't know the application it's hard to say.

    Equal to or higher rating. Going to a lower rating could cause overheating and a possible fire.
