I am trying to dye my hair dark red. My roots are light, while the rest is dark. Every-time I dye my hair, the roots catches the dye and become very light and the rest of the hair do not catch any color. So there is always difference between the roots and the rest. What should I do in order to have all hair the same color in dark red?

Colouring your whole head each time is not a good idea. Try applying the color to your roots first, then leave on for about l0 minutes, then do the rest of your hair.

However you are never going to achieve the results you want because you are going from light to dark.
