    I have a 2 year old BMW 520 auto. I am looking to have a tow bar fitted by a BMW dealer.
    They have told me I need a fan upgrade to cool the engine.
    Why is this when in the hand book it states that I can tow uo to 2.5 ton.
    Have they got confussed whit the eco version.

    If you are climbing mountains with a load, it could help. Just watch your guages. If the Engine gets so hot you need to turn off the AC and turn on the Heater to Cool, I would do the upgrade?
