    No air flows down with the hunter ceiling fan
    Why does our hunter ceiling fan fail to blow air on us regardless of direction of the blades or the speed?

    Do you have the blades installed upside down ? Get on a ladder and carefully get above the fan. If it is pushing air up...

    Can't be upside down. Check reversing switch and rotation. If a flush mount fan they don't blow a lot down.

    I can only guess it is too high up?
    Hunters either use a reverse switch and on older ones, the blades actually tilt to the opposite angle for reverse flow.
    When using the reverse switch, does the motor turn the other direction?
