    High blood pressure
Hi, I just had a baby a week ago. I was put on magnesium because I had high blood pressure. I'm now on medication to control my blood pressure. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but, when I don't take my pill or I'm late. I feel my heart beat rising but its not actually rising. I feel shaky which I think is out of nervousness, hotness, slight headache And a weird heart burn feeling. Any idea on who at that is?

You must take your blood pressure pill. Having high blood pressure while pregnant is a very serious condition. You must keep your doctor informed of any changes in your body, as you are describing here, so they may circumvent any problems that arise that may jeopardize you and your unborn baby.

What you are probably feeling, logically, is the affects of high blood pressure.

So the Doc McCoy answer holds here, if you go wonky if you're late in taking your Blood Pressure pills than take them on time.

Tickle, the baby has already been born. Pre-eclampsia, as you had, can continue on for a couple of weeks after the birth of your child and can be relatively dangerous.

Nervousness and headache can indicate a rise in your blood pressure. Do you have the ability to take your blood pressure at home with a home monitor?

If not, any changes in vision (spots before your eyes, blurred vision, etc), need to be immediately addressed even if you have to go to the ER.
