I'm present in everything. I move upwards while travelling from East to West (i.e. equatorially). I also experiences a kind of motion while travelling horizontally with the poles.

Convective air currents. As equatorial air heart convection cuase it to rise and move north or south towards the poles, and then the earth's rotation causes a coriolis effect that makes the air travel towards the east. This causes the prevailing winds in temperate regions to be west-to-east.
