    Form 8863 & 1099-T
I think I made a bid mistake on my taxes this year. I received the 1099-T form from my school. Me doing my own taxes for years just plugged in the numbers and e-filed my taxes. But now that I've been trying to research this Form 8863 because my e-file has been delayed because of this education credit, I now believe I wasn't suppose to to fill this form out. Now I'm nervous about it. Do I call the IRS? Do I refile?? I'm just at a loss. Can someone help, thanks.

No, the delay is due to IRS issues from the deal Congress made on the financial cliff standoff.

If you completed the Form 8863 accurately, you will be okay. You refund will just be delayed for a few weeks.
