    About taxes and refunds
Ok if the IRS gets your w-2 in June way after tax season is done and you put different info on wages and federal withheld as long as it makes sense will you still get your refund (which was efiled) n if not why I've been trying to find out but people just answer in a stupid way I'm looking for a answer to my question not someone saying your going to jail or that's fraud because I already know that so please help

People might be answering in a stupid way because you post unintelligibly. If you stop using text speak and type in full words and sentences so people can understand you, you might get a better answer.

Your employer is required to give you a W2 by the end of January. If he didn't he is in trouble with the IRS. If you filed based on the YTD totals on your last paycheck, then you should not be in trouble for fraud. You may, however, have to file an amended return.

Excuse me? If I didn't answer your question its because it was hard to understand. As I read your question you wanted to know what would happen if you put different info on your return then was on your W2. Which I DID answer.

In rereading, I see you also wanted to know if it will hold up your refund. No one can answer that. The IRS compares your return to their records of W2s. If there is no W2 to check against, it may hold up your refund or they may release it. The IRS closely guards the parameters that prompt them to delay or release a refund. So no one can tell you for sure whether this will delay your refund or not.

Actually, the IRS will issue the refund if the EIN of the W-2 is registered and matches theior records, and the SSN of the filer matches their record. They will then come back after you when they get the W-2 and discover the discrepancies.

That is a process you do NOT want to experience.

You will get the refund and keep it until the IRS discovers the discrepancy, then they will come looking for you to get it BACK.

Possibly, if the IRS does not have something in their computer to put the W-2 in doubt, like an unregistered EIN.
