My furnace trane xe80 has 4 flashing lights for the thermal protector on
I have replaced the thermal protector. Furnace ignites then shuts down after a couple of minutes and continues doing this. When ignites, slow steady flash. Then back to the 4 flashes when furnace shuts down again what is causing this to happen. When I put in the new protector furnace ran for 12 hrs heating it seemed as if it was running all day a lot
But now back to doing the same thing by shutting down
