    Self tanner and tattoos..
    I'm going out tonight and I was to use myself tanning lotion on my legs but obviously I have to put it on my feet too. The problem with that being a got a new tattoo about a week ago. Will the self tanner effect it at all?
    I mean I'm past the point of having to use a&d ointment, it just calls for a scent less lotion now.
    Bad idea?

    Yes, it will absorb the color faster and change the color of your tat.

    I have a stepdaughter who actually did this with a spray tan - the beige/white/ivory colors turned orange and remained that way.

    Maybe it's a once in a lifetime result but I agree - I'd skip the tat.
