    Foundation water line
Hi, my name is Omar. We've had a pretty dry summer this past yr in the midwest and I guess that affected the dirt around my foundation because I can see my water sealant line on the outside. I was wondering what material is best used to pack against the foundation to help divert water from the house?

Had the same issue in GA. Went to HD and bought broken bags of topsoil for. 50 cents per bag and just poured them along foundation and tamped down.

Top soil is frequently loamy, clay will repel water even better. Loam has organic matter and silt added
