GF of 3 years broke up with me a week ago and is now seeing someone else
Hey all, I just came across this site, but it seemed like a nice place to get some off my chest.
... So I'm 21, been seeing by girlfriend for the past 3 years. Our relationship had its "rocky" moments, but I was always madly in love with her. First serious relationship syndrome most likely. 3 weeks ago she went to France for 4 months working in a ski-resort. She insisted we'd make it work and for the first week we got on great unfortunately after that she became incredibly distant, never making any time for me etc. Last Thursday, after she'd been there for 2 weeks she broke up with me with a text message, couldn't even find the time to talk to me about it. I immediately initiated NC, but today I opened up my web browser and found I was logged into her Facebook. Unable to resist the urge I browsed through her messages, turns out she's already seeing some other guy (Who I believe has a girlfriend anyway) Whatsmore, before she broke up with me it seems she was cheating on me with a different guy. Ouch. ... Having never gone through any kind of break-up before, I was wondering if anyone had advice for me, plus it feels good to just get this rant off my chest. |
