Sue University or its Staff Member
    Dear friends,

I am writing you this message to seek legal help. Please spend your time reading my compliant and give me a hand. .
    • This is a personal matter and not related to immigration issue.

    Place: {Removed}
    Date: Sep 2011

The {removed} associate director {Name removed} forward(report) an official document to immigration court about my criminal charges and she stated I have restraining order from state (she does not mention which state) and my previous university. She also stated I have criminal issue on campus because I have threaten many people. All these report were not with any evidential document such as criminal report from FBI or any injury reports from the doctor.. etc.

    Here is my questions:

I filled the compliant through the university system with all the proves that I have never involve any criminal incident or charges and request the university perform law enforcement. After many months argument, the {removed} decide to close my case.

I have send e-mails or faxes to local lawyers and non of them are not interested in my case and some of them are not willing to fight with Universities. Moreover, I met a lawyer that I am not fight with the staff member who made mistake. I am fighting with the whole University equal to the government.

I want to move on the next level court system and wish you would like to give me hand. Please let me know

    1. which type of Lawyer I have to find.
    2. should I sue the staff member slander or definition of character

Thanks for your time to read my concerns and problems

    Sincerely,

    Andy

If you cannot locate an Attorney willing to take your case after learning all of the circumstances I very much doubt anyone here can give you any worthwhile advice. You cannot sue for an error; you can sue for a deliberate misstatement or failure to correct an error. The University (or someone) got the information from someplace. Do you know where?

Any Attorney who handles general law can help you with this - if you can locate an Attorney who wants to get involved.

If this boils down to an Immigration issue you need an Immigration Attorney.

Thanks for your response. The university did not hear or contact with anyone. The staff members made up these statement.

Are any other agency such as attorney general I can fill my complaints beside looking for attorney ?

    Many thanks

No, the AG wouldn't be interested. It's a civil case involving - minimally - your reputation and "made up" information.

Do you have any idea why the University employees would do this? Is it one employee or more than one?

Thanks for your reply. I lost my scholarship in the mid of March 2013. I started many investigation. Then, I found out several violations. 1. Unfair employment: the school of music privately hired a faculty to fill an one year full time position without announcement. Misrepresentation of the public funding. Racial discrimination: white student having behavior problems had advantages of avoiding punishment and can continue on scholarship. I had several proves such as photos.. etc. In order to cover these mistakes, the university inform ICE to send me back to Taiwan. Although I have a voluntary departure, it is not easy to convince immigration officers to give the visa. In order to get the visa back to the US, I have to prove the University messed up my academic records and then immigration records.

Moreover, several faculties are involved. They stay together to against me, either. If I am totally wrong, they do not have to unit to against me. There must be something behind that. It is why I have to keep fighting together.

    Okay, now I understand.

Yes, the AG MIGHT be interested if you were, in fact, a "whistle blower" and you were punished for what you found.

Yes, I would definitely contact the Attorney General as concisely as possible with what you have told "us."

Whistle blowers cannot be punished the way you are being punished.

I think if you can explain this clearly and rather unemotionally (and I know that's difficult) I think you have a very good chance if getting an Attorney to take your case.

Are you certified lawyer or have you been trained to write a letter to legal institution ? I may pay you some money to revise my letter. By the way, all these photos are in my computer in the US. How should I do ? Right now you know why the University falsely report ICE and I am a criminal because they want to erase evidence as many as they can.

I appreciate the offer and the confidence but, no, I'm not an Attorney (I'm an investigator) and you need an Attorney in your area.

    Contact the AG first.
