When I turn on the heat or AC the blower motor sometimes starts and other times it doesn't. If I pull the cover off and spin the squirrel cage by hand sometimes it will start up after getting it spinning. I can hear the relay kick in when I turn on the heat but sometimes it just won't start...

I am rewiring a Rudd Heater Blower motor. 240v 3 speed motor and I am trying to wire it. It doesn't matter how I wire it, as soon as I hit the 240v breaker by the unit the motor runs. I have even disconnected the thermostat totally and the motor runs constant. I am not an electrician.(Obviously)...

I just replaced my thermostat and wired it the same as the last. The furance fires up and the fan turns on but the blower motor doesn't turn on. Any suggestions?

Hi I have a bryant heat and air unit,fairly 10yrs old. I have replaced the motor in it once last year . The motor will not start ,I have checked the thermostat,fuse and breaker,all seem to be OK. Not sure about the capacitor. Can you help?
