Go to a hospital. How can you say you don't know what to do? How old are you?
Just to cover the bases, do you know the blood is coming out of your urethra and not your vagina? And can you pinpoint the location of the pain?

What brand of pill? Is it mid-month? You CAN bleed menstrual blood while on the pill.
It just isn't clear how you know this is blood from your urinary tract. So go to an ER. Excruciating, screaming pain might be a kidney stone passing. But there is no way to know here.

I am not permitted to diagnose. My nursing license does not permit that.

With that said, as I tell patients who call the hospital where I work, I can only advise you to seek medical treatment by a doctor at the hospital or by your health care provider.

You will need to have a urine analysis done as well as most likely some blood work to determine what is going on. It is quite possible you will need an ultrasound on your kidneys to see if you have, and/or passing kidney stones.

I would advise to go to the hospital if your doctor's office is closed.

Also, it is not necessary to open new threads with the same question. I am the only RN on the site. We have no doctors who are members.

Well, it isn't life or death, but you do need to be evaluated as soon as possible. If it is a UTI you need to get treatment before this gets worse. I wouldn't recommend waiting through the weekend.

But it would take a while to do blood tests at my doctors they can't do it right away
