    Eating Lotus petals while pregnant
    Hi,
I'm 8 weeks pregnant. One of my relatives has suggested to eat raw Lotus petals to support pregnancy. Is it recommended or will it have any side effects?
    Please suggest.

    Regards,
    Shruha

There is no proof to it what so ever. It is a herbal or "folk" medication.

Lotus is normally done in a tea or in a "soup" often eaten at breakfast. It is said to be a cure all for many women health issues.
