    Teacher retirement disability
    Will I be able to claim my mother as an dependent on my taxes if she receives teacher retirement disability?

    Depends. After factoring in the disability pension, do you still provide MORE than half of her total support.

    If yes, then you can claim her.

    If no, the you cannot.
