    electrical engg question
The area of the solar cell is 1 cm2, the cell series resistance is zero, temperature is 300 K, and I0 is
1 x 10‐12 A/cm2. The ideality factor = 1.0 and the current density is 0.35mA/cm2. Draw the diode
characteristic. Then draw the I‐V curve of the complete cell. What is the characteristic resistance
and fill factor? What is the maximum power?
If the series resistance is 1.5 ohms, redraw the I‐V curve, what is the characteristic resistance and fill
factor? Find the slope of the I‐V curve near Voc. How does it compare with the value of the series
resistance? What is the maximum power?
If the parallel resistance is 100 ohms, redraw the I‐V curve, what is the characteristic resistance
and the fill factor? Find the slope of the curve near Isc, how does it compare with the parallel
resistance? What is the maximum power?
