It does not work at all?
-Is it controlled by any switches or strictly by the remote? (or do you know?)
-Do you have any tripped breakers?
-What is the brand of the fan? (

    Fan/remote not working
It has a wall switch. I'm not sure of the brand of the fan. And no breakers are tripped

    Did you do the installation?

If you have a remote, why is there a wall switch. Please try this: with the wall switch on and the fan running can you vary the speed of the fan?

Hi, I have a Hunter fan with light and remote control, with reversible switch on the remote. RC was working fine until recently, and now, the fan will not turn off with it. I do not have a wall switch. The light works fine with RC, and the reversing also works, so does the fan speed. So, what...

Fan stopped working--is it remote? Or fan? [ 3 Answers ]

We had two Harbor Breeze ceiling fans installed. We used two separate remotes. After a month, suddenly one of them stopped working. We switched the batteries and it still did not work, so it is not the battery. What do we do? How do we find out if it is the remote or something inside the fan. This...

I have a Hunter Fan (I think) that stopped working (magically) but the light kit on it works. I had recently removed an identical model fan with light kit out of another room that was working fine when I replaced it with an updated fan. So I replaced that "non-working" fan with the other one -...
