    Ducane furnace troubleshooting
    Have an older Ducane furnace in the attic. We are trying to find out how much it weighs. Here is the info:
    DUCANE
    EXCEL COMFORT SYSTEMS INC.
    930 MAIN STREET

    MODEL FPBB100A58
    SERIAL 19078505432053405

    FORCED AIR FURNACE

    WE NEED THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT. WE ARE REMODELING THE HOUSE AND IT IS SITTING ON A BEAM THAT WE NEED TO KNOW THE WEIGHT LOAD ON.

    Probably best to contact them directly: ducanehvac.com. Ballpark? 2-300# BTW Not a good idea to post email and tel#s. This is a world wide site and you never know what looney will be looking.
