    Meningitis?
I am having neck and back pains and they are stiff. My whole head is also hurting and pounding and throbbing. I can't concentrate too well on school work mainly because my head is hurting. I went to the ER last night and they didn't take any blood or ask too many questions but they said its most likely not meningitis because I don't have a fever and I'm not vomiting. They said it may turn into meningitis and then released me without a specific diagnosis or treatment. I'm a little sensitive to light. Do you know what I could possibly have? I've been taking tylenol and it helps some. By the way I am allergic to ibuprofen.

There is no way to give a diagnosis online. If the doctors weren't concerned, then you shouldn't be either. They have the best chance of diagnosing you. You won't find answers online.

    Good luck.
