    Presidential furnace
    I have the older Furnace. My pilot light stays on, but when I turn the gas on it burns for about 3 seconds then goes out pilot light and all, but the unit doesn't click off for about 30 seconds or so.

    Please explain what you mean by "the unit doesn't click off for about 30 seconds". What doesn't click off?
