    Can a calif resident own a home in Georgia
    My husband and I own a home in calif and in Georgia. The home in Georgia is in my name and I became a resident of Ga. My husband retains a Calif license to stay a resident of the calif home. I want to add my husband to the Georgia deed, I own the home without any liens. Does he need a Georgia license to be added to the deed.

    No. You can add him to deed with no problem. The only issue might be with establishing residency for tax purposes.

    No, I own homes in three states, and still claim Georgia as my resident but live in China.

    If he has to sign the deed, then he will just need proof of ID,
