    Free Electrical Questions
    In a kissimmee fl. Home I have 60 volts coming through the white wire when checked against the bare wire, I have 120 volts coming through the black wire when checked against the bare wire. But when I check between the white wire and the black wire I have no voltage. I think it is a bad ground or a bad breaker.

    You have defective neutral (white) conductor, either loose or burnt.

    Could be a shared neutral in a three wire cable in the home, or can be from the utility.
