    Inheritance tax
    I am due to receive 15000.00inheritence do I have to pay taxes on that money ?

    No for sure at the federal level.

    Maybe at the state level. It depends on the state.

    There is no federal tax on inheritances. Most of the states do not tax inheritances. For your state, check at the state web site.
