Can't remove the delta 14multichoice tub handle..
Hi all,
I can't remove the tub handle which control both hot and cold water for the tub and also for the shower. I don't know the screw is missing or not... I tried with allen keys and none of them seems to be working.. would really appreciate if anyone could help me out to remove this handle... The problem is that we are not able to get the hot water and the handle won't turn all the way to hot, it can turn only up to the middle of the hot and cold. Thanks |

Delta single knob tub/shower faucet. Very little water comes out faucet. When we took off the knob and turned on the water we had great water pressure come through the open handle pipe could not get it pressurized to run out shower. Plumber put on new cartridge but still not much water came out.
I have removed the allen set screw from the handle, moved handle, added vinegar and wd-40. The handle will not come off. What next? Help!
This is one of the single acrylic, faceted round handles popular in the 90's. I know there Is a way to remove it, and clean the inside to make it look better, but how?
They just won't come out, seems as though they must be dug out, but I don't want to gouge the brass housing.
