I forgot to take one of mi pills (Jasmin), I started on Saturday and I forgot the Thursday one. I had sex the day before, and that was last week. This week I have been felling low abdominal pains…like those that you feel when your period is coming. Mild ache that goes from the front to the back. Should I be worried about pregnancy? should I stop to take the pill?

Hi there, I'm not really sure myself because I'm in a pretty similar situation myself. I stopped having my Depo injection exactly a week ago today and had sex sometime in between that week. Yesterday I had those all too familiar abdominal pains and terrible back ache but no period itself. I keep getting a sort of hot and dizzy feeling too. I wondering whether to take a pregnancy test or leave it because it's too early.

I think it takes 11 days from conception to feel anything. It souunds to me like period pain. The pill and depo both mess up your cycle

Understand that anytime you have sex, you run the risk of pregnancy. No protection is 100% effective except abstinence. I got pregnant with my first 2 while taking the pill religiously.

What you are experiencing may only be a symptom of the missed pill. Until you start another month of pills, assuming you definitely do not want to get pregnant, it may be in your best interest to use a second form of birth control.
