    Ovulation but no period?
Hi you guys, this may seem like a stupid question to ask but, can you still ovulate and NOT have a period?

It seems like I have heard of this happening before, (as in pcos cases) but don't quote me on that. I think your doctor would be the best source to ask this question.

Yes and no. People with polycystic ovaries skip periods or have iregular periods. This is caused by irregular ovulation. My doctor told me I was unlikely to get pregnant until I was ovulating regularly. But you can ovulate but not have a period due to stress etc.
