    Sib ship
I live in Calgary Alberta Canada,I am trying to get my Metis Rights and was wondering if I had a sibship test done would that be sufficient to get my status back? They are updating the files and are asking for long form birth certificates.
The problem is that my dad who is Metis and deceased is not listed on my birth certificate. He is however listed on my brothers, so if I have a sibship test done will they have to accept it?
    Thanks,
Any help in this would greatly be appreciated

Yes, of course, get a sibship done; that will prove that you are within the immediate family. This is not unusual under these circumstances, they would be expecting this if your father is not on the because.
