Will a felony that has been reduced still show up as a felony?
In 2010 I was charged with a class d felony neglect charge and served 1 1/2 years probation and upon completion of probation the charge was reduced to a class a misdemeanor. Will it prevent me from completing the hands on training in college or getting a job? Will it still show up on my record as a felony?

It depends on who runs the background check and whether you need a license to practice your profession.

In my experience a background check will reveal both the charge and the disposition.
