OK hey. So if a 16 year old and a 21 year old are dating and they our happy. Both of their parents approvw of it... can he still get into trouble? And what if they are thinking of getting married because they love each other and so he won't get into any harm. Can they marry in Texas without any promblems? Or would they have to do it somewhere elese? Any help or answer is apreciatted and nedded.

Parents, of course, cannot give a minor permission to have sex because they would be assisting the minor in breaking the law.

To summarize the law as Judy gave it. If there is sexual activity, then someone could report it and he could be prosecuted.

If the parents consent, they can get married.

I am skeptical of parents allowing a 16 yr old to date a 22 yr old.
