    My girlfriends mother hates me
    My girlfriend and I have been together for 3 years. We love each other and would like to get married. The only problem is her mother. She hates me with a passion. I can understand some of her disdain, as my ex wife has causes me a lot of trouble through our divorce an custody battle. What I any understand is her threats to her daughter. He threatens to make her file a restraining order against me, disown her as family, attempt to get me fired or ruin my life if she doesn't comply with her demands of breaking up. She has even threatened to cut her out of the will and signed her up a profile for an online dating website. My girlfriend is absolutely torn and tells me she can't pick between us, and doesn't want to hurt her mom. It causes severe emotional stress for us both and has caused her to break up with me several times. I could use any advice on this. My girlfriend tells me it is normal in her culture (Lebanese) for

    Ound this. Talking doesn't work as she refuses to even meet and talk with me. She only threatens me. Did I mention we are both 30 years old? Additionally she has a good job as a scientist and I'm a policeman.
