    A friend recently dx with hsv.got virolgy hsv test 4/12 results negative.she been w new partner recently got complete std check everything was negative except hsv which was positive.would you say she contracted it from her recent partner

    How many partners has she had? If she's only had one, then yes, she likely got it from the one and only guy she had sex with. If it's more than one, than it could be anyone. This is the risk you take when you have sex. Why does it matter who she got it from? If anything this should be a wake up call that casual sex has consequences.

    Yes she has been with him.he claims he had full std check in prison which was year ago.and claims he been with one female n used protection since he been released

    yes she was w ex had protected with him 4 times with him broke up w ex got full std check 4/12 didn't have sex again until 10/12 with new partner n it was unprotected sex recently she gt full std test 12/12
    And everything meg but hsv positive
