Hello I'm a 22 year old sexually active female on birth control (pill). I have regular periods, stick on the pill perfectly and don't suspect pregnancy.

This morning I woke up.with cramps and a little brownish red blood in my underwear. I should not be.on my period till.next week. Then this evening after having bad cramps and back pain all day, a huge chunk.of thick tissue and.clot-like piece with a little blood fell out of my vagina. It is the size of a small lemon very thick.and jello-like, looks like tissue or.skin. What is this? Could my uterine lining have fallen out?

There is no way to diagnose over the internet. This really should be checked by a doctor.

The only thing I can say for certain is that pregnancy is possible. If you're sexually active, like you stated, then pregnancy is always possible, even while using birth control. There's no form of birth control that's 100%, and there are women on this site, and all over the world, that get pregnant while on 3 or more forms of birth control. So don't rule out pregnancy.
