    Yeast infection treatment
I recently developed a vaginal yeast infection and started treating with monistat 3. The day after I started using it, I also started bleeding. I'm on the pill and I'm very regular and not due to start my period for another week and a half. The blood is very bright red. I'm just wondering if this is normal for some women during yeast infection treatments.

I highly doubt that there is any connection, yet in some ways everything is connected to hormonal quirks, including the yeast infection itself, stress, other changes in your life. There are a few prescription medications that greatly increase the chance of pregnancy while on the pill.
But it sounds like it's just mid cycle bleeding, which you wouldn't ordinarily get when on the pill. If it lasts more than a day or two, I'd call your doctor.

I should have specified that there is absolutely NO possibility of pregnancy. I haven't had sex with anyone in over 8 months and I'm clearly not pregnant now. Also it seems to have slowed (the last night treating was last night). Just wasn't sure if it could be a sensitivity issue due to the medication.
