Old plumbing would be my guess. All of my galvanized plumbing is being replaced in my 1940 house because of the water pressure issue. Of course this could be only one reason, so wait for Tom our plumbing expert to shed some light on your problem.

Tickle said, "so wait for Tom our plumbing expert to shed some light on your problem"...

Jesus, Tickle, what an insult to every single individual that works this page every single day...Expert or not an expert!

This is perhaps the most well-watched page on this site having a number of dedicated individuals answering on a daily basis 365... year after year (after year after year, etc.).

If you must, for some reason, take the time to tell people they will get a response soon (which should be obvious if they look at the main plumbing page) please keep it simple and remember all of the contributors to the page by simply saying that someone with great experience will be along to help soon... OK?

God, mark, I didn't mean to insult; after all of these years, I just don know the name of all you great guys and apologize profusely for that.

But why jump all over me so hard; I know you were insulted, and fewer words would have made me realize that.

I have never ever felt so bad, satisfied !

Tickle, I think Mark was just speaking his mind (and I assume the mind of many of us here at the plumbing page). Im sure he didn't mean to make you feel bad, as after knowing him for some time, its just not in his nature. Just trying to get the point across. Have a good one, and on to the next.

PS. That being said, Im sure Tom will be along to shed some light, as he never seems to skip a beat here at the AMHD plumbing page.
